About Us

I have been doing acupuncture work for over 20 years. Acupuncture led to study and work in Medical QiGong, Hands on healing, kinesiology or muscle testing, animal acupuncture, and sound healing. My first professional job was a mechanical engineer for the USArmy (Civil Service), I conducted instrumented road shock and vibration testing. This vibration testing work is very similar to analyzing the human voice. The frequencies are different but the analysis of the data is similar.

My qualifications include a BS in Materials Engineering from Virginia Tech. This education taught me about patterns and about problem solving, I learned failure analysis by determining root cause and corrective action. I am a tenacious problem solver and enjoy challenges.

My second career is acupuncture and holistic healing. I am a licensed acupuncturist, I have Diplomate in Acupuncture, From National Commission Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I have been working as an acupuncturist and hands on healer for twenty years. My most recent contract included working in a community acupuncture setting at the local hospital. It’s here I learned speed. I learned to quickly asses and treat my patients. My work is results oriented and usually processes through very quickly during the session, but the energy will continue to work over a period of time that varies with life wearing on.

I also a certified animal acupuncture healing from Maryland Institute of Integrated Health, Laurel, MD (formerly Tai Sophia). I am an animal lover, I am down to 1 cat, 1 dog and 1 horse. I am always learning from my animal friends.

I have been studying herbs and supplements since my teenage years. I am striving to be a Master QiGong instructor, I am working on those qualifications now. It is my passion to help others remove their health roadblocks.

I love to work with families. I work with multiple generations and even the dog.
